Everest College Respiratory Care Degree Program
The Respiratory Care Associate in Science Degree Program provides both technical and practical training that should enable the graduate, upon licensure and/or certification, to function as a competent entry-level Respiratory Therapist.
The Respiratory Care Technician program provides the student with the theory and hands-on applications required to perform the following tasks:
As a Respiratory Care Technician, you should become a vital member of a healthcare team assisting doctors with the treatment of pulmonary disorders.
You should gain the skills to evaluate patients, acquiring the abilities to test the capacity of the lungs and analyze oxygen and carbon dioxide concentration.
You should be prepared to provide routine respiratory care services. Through our intensive program, you should gain the skills to observe, monitor and record the breathing conditions of patients.
There are an abundance of entry-level employment opportunities available in hospitals including: clinics, doctors' offices, private industry, assisted living facilities, and educational institutions.
