Legal Administrative Assistant Degree College Program

Legal secretaries prepare correspondence and legal papers such as summonses, complaints, motions, responses, and subpoenas under the supervision of an attorney or a paralegal. They also may review legal journals and assist with legal research—for example, by verifying quotes and citations in legal briefs. Additionally, legal secretaries often teach newly minted lawyers how to prepare documents for submission to the courts.

If you're interested in a career in the fascinating field of law, but don't want to spend the years (or the money!) it takes to go to law school; a professional career in Legal Administration could be perfect for you.  Graduates work in such environments as attorneys' offices, court systems, the military services, and insurance companies.
